It’s been a crazy past few weeks, but I’m here and I’m alive and things are getting better so let’s get back to business

Yesterday, I looked outside of my house and was amazed at the ridiculous number of cars we have for a house that only contains three people.

Between myself, my mother, and my father, we own:

A 1986 Merkur XR4Ti

A 1988 Merkur XR4Ti

A 2012 Kia Sedona

A 2000 Chevy Blazer

A 2006 Audi A3

A 2007 VW GTI

While a few of those are tragically on their way out (which will be covered in full when the times comes,) I figured now would be a great time to see what my Oppo brethren have kicking around their property.

2000 Honda Odyssey (95k miles) (somehow on its original transmission with no shifting issues)

2010 Honda CR-V (35k miles)(Smells of diesel from when my brother spilled mineral spirits in the back seat and shorted out the rear door speakers 2 years ago)

2000 Subaru Outback (210k miles)(has wheel bearing issue, stickerbombed drivers fender, ikea cutting boards for mudflaps that keep breaking, smells like vape, driven by my idiot brother)

1993 Ford Ranger (129k Miles)(Leaks oil, grinds gears, leaks power steering, drives like a bat outta hell)

Yes, it has the 2.5L 5 cylinder. She won’t let me drive it so I would not know. I do know that it is a temperamental car, a new light every day. Right now it is a power steering issue that need to be fixed.

I have nothing of interest but some how my father in law ended up with a 76 fj42, a 79 Porsche 924, and Honda Z600 “coupe”. And none of them run. Lol I’m currently arguing with my brother in law about wether we will restore or greatly modify the Honda, I’m voting restore. The Porsche will hopefully get an Audi 5 cylinder turbo engine, and the Toyota needs a carb rebuild but it'll stay in it unrestored trail rig state, as the frame is too far gone for anything else.

Well, as I’m in Spain now and for the next year, all I have is the 2010 Explorer. One thing I’ve noticed is that this car is a unicorn here. The only other one I’ve seen is the government owned one that my shop uses for around base. A while back, there was also a Renault Megane (nothing special) but that’s been sold and now resides about three houses down.
